Overview
ComicFlow is a comic and manga reader for Apple TV. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy explains what data ComicFlow collects and how it is used.
Data We Do Not Collect
ComicFlow does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. Specifically:
- No account registration is required
- No analytics or tracking SDKs are included
- No advertising frameworks are used
- No personal information is shared with third parties
Data Stored Locally
The following data is stored locally on your Apple TV device and never leaves it:
- Reading progress — which page you last read in each title
- Favorites — titles you have marked as favorites
- Server credentials — if you connect to a comic server (Komga, Kavita, OPDS) or network storage (SMB, WebDAV), your server URLs and login credentials are stored locally on your device
- App preferences — language, reader settings, and display options
- Purchase status — whether you have purchased the unlimited reading unlock
Network Connections
ComicFlow connects to external servers only when you explicitly configure them:
- Comic servers (Komga, Kavita, OPDS) you add in Settings
- Network storage (SMB, WebDAV) you add in Settings
- Third-party manga source repositories you add via URL
- Apple's App Store servers for in-app purchase verification
ComicFlow does not make any network requests on its own beyond what you configure.
In-App Purchases
ComicFlow offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock unlimited reading. All purchase transactions are handled by Apple through the App Store. ComicFlow does not process or store any payment information.
Children's Privacy
ComicFlow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
